Child Care

 

We would like to establish a bank of Relief Child Care Play Workers who are required on a casual basis.

 

The Relief Play Worker position will cover planned absences, staff illness and ratio requirements, across a variety of times sessions, between the hours of 07.45 and 18.00hrs during term time, inset days and holiday play schemes.

 

Candidates must have, at least, an NVQ level 2 Certificate in Children and Young People Workforce, its equivalent and willing to work towards an appropriate level 3 qualification. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working with children and other adults, to develop a safe and caring environment, where children enjoy learning and playing.

 

Salary will be paid on Band A Point 7 to 11 currently £15,115 to £15,807 pro rata, dependant on experience and qualifications.

Secretarial / Admin Staff

We are looking to appoint immediately the position of part time Financial Administration Assistant. This position is for 21 hours per week term time working afternoons 1pm to 4pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 12pm on Monday and Thursday mornings.

This role mainly provides financial administration support for the whole school and includes the following main areas;

  • The bookkeeping and administration of the school fund accounts including monthly bank reconciliations.

  • Using the school’s ParentPay system to maintain effective control of the schools debt including monies owed by parents for dinners and other pupil activities.

  • Booking Supply cover and arranging for completion of timesheets ready to be submitted to the Authority on an as needed basis

  • Sickness Absence reporting to SMBC via the Oracle Self-Serve System and the recovery of associated insurance claims.

 

Salary will be paid on Band C Point 13 – 23 currently £16,491 - £21,268 pro rata based on qualifications and experience. The position is term time only inclusive of inset.

Lunchtime Supervisor

 

We would like to establish a bank of Relief Lunchtime Supervisors who are required on a casual basis to replace existing staff when they are ill or are taking authorised leave of absence. Work will be supervised by the Lead Lunchtime Supervisor but will take place 12noon to 1:30pm on the days required. Salary will be paid on Band A Point 7 – 11 currently £15,115 - £15,807 + annual leave pro rata, dependant on experience and qualifications.

The position involves supervising children in the dining room and caring for them in the playground area during the rest of their lunchtime break.
