Secretarial / Admin Staff

 

Greswold is a very popular primary school in central Solihull which is currently expanding from 2 form to 3 form entry. Our Bursar/Office Manager is a key member of the Strategic Leadership Team who supports the Governing Body and the Headteacher in ensuring the school meets its aims in all strategic and operational financial planning matters. We provide an inclusive learning community where every child really does matter.

We are looking to appoint immediately a Bursar/Office Manager who has great interpersonal skills and a drive to help the school develop and improve further. A good level of numeracy and literacy is essential (GCSE Grade C or equivalent). The role is term time plus 3 weeks (42 weeks including INSET days), 37 hours per week. The position will be paid on Band E point 31-39 currently £27,668 to £34,538 pro rata dependant on qualifications and experience.

Child Care

We are looking to appoint for an immediate start a permanent Catering and Child Care Assistant for Greswold Greyhounds Childcare. The position will be for 20 hours per week contracted 7.45am-8.45am and 2.15pm-5.15pm daily over 5 days, term time only. There is an expectation that in agreement with the Manager of Extended Services Inset days and play schemes will be worked on a rota basis and paid as additional hours.

Candidates must have or be prepared to train for a Level 1 Food Safety qualification or the willingness to complete this within a twelve month period. The successful candidate will be someone who can demonstrate previous skills and experience in working in a food/catering role and has understanding of the importance of maintaining high standards of food handling and good hygiene practices. It is also expected that you will have the skills and ability to interact and effectively work with children from the ages of 3-11 years in the setting.

 

Actual salary will be paid on Band A Point 7 to 11 currently £6,785 to £7,096 pro rata, dependant on experience and qualifications.

We are looking to appoint for an immediate start a permanent Play Worker for Greswold Greyhounds Childcare. The position will be for 20 hours per week contracted 07.45 to 08.45hrs and 15.00 to 18.00hrs daily over 5 days, term time only. There is an expectation that in agreement with the Manager of Extended Services Inset days and play schemes will be worked on a rota basis and paid as additional hours.

Candidates must have, at least, an NVQ level 2 Certificate in Children and Young People Workforce, its equivalent and willing to work towards an appropriate level 3 qualification. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working with children and other adults, to develop a safe and caring environment, where children enjoy learning and playing.

 

Actual salary will be paid on Band A Point 7 to 11 currently £6,785 to £7,096, dependant on experience and qualifications.

We would  also like to establish a bank of Relief Child Care Play Workers who are required on a casual basis.

 

The Relief Play Worker position will cover planned absences, staff illness and ratio requirements, across a variety of times sessions, between the hours of 07.45 and 18.00hrs during term time, inset days and holiday play schemes.

 

Candidates must have, at least, an NVQ level 2 Certificate in Children and Young People Workforce, its equivalent and willing to work towards an appropriate level 3 qualification. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working with children and other adults, to develop a safe and caring environment, where children enjoy learning and playing.

 

Salary will be paid on Band A Point 7 to 11 currently £8.93p to £9.34 per hour, dependant on experience and qualifications.
