Remarkable Sportshall Athletics County Final performance
A truly remarkable final result capped another astonishing display by the year 5/6 Sportshall Athletics team who won their School Games Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull County Final against eight other regional winners by a staggering 92 points.
Final result: 1st - Greswold (South Solihull) 380 points, 2nd - Whitmore Primary (Coventry West) 288 points, 3rd - Ernesford Grange Primary (Coventry East) 284 points, 4th - St Nicholas CE Primary (South Warks) 270 points, 5th - St Nicholas CE Primary (Central Warks) 250 points, 6th - Marston Green (North Solihull) 230 points, 7th - St Marie's Primary (East Warks) 178 points, 8th - Milby Primary (North Warks) 140 points, 9th - Warton Nethersole's Primary (North Warks) 140 points.
The children have been a credit to Greswold and its community all the way through the three rounds of competition which began with over 400 schools across three regions entering, a fact which shows just how impressive their performance has been. Well done children.
