Our Maths team from Y4 represented Greswold in the final of the Borcherd Shield run by KES. Only 12 teams from the 100 that entered reached the final and we were delighted to finish in 3rd place overall. The competitors were also treated to a fun show by Murderous Maths author, Kjartan Poskitt.
Year 2 enjoyed two nights away from home in the glorious countryside of the Welsh border. They stayed at Dunfield House and spent their time being creative and learning about minibeasts. The children got to hunt minibeasts in the woods, go for a welly walk, make mud hedgehogs, play ball games, play on the adventure playground and have a camp fire - all on the first day! There was lots to do later in the visit including a lovely evening walk through the nearby fields and a swim in the pool. The children were great and we are grateful for all the staff who gave up their time to make the visit happen.
