  • Year 2 visit St Alphege Church

    Fri 30 Nov 2018

Year 2 had a fine winter morning for their walk to St Alphege Church. They visited the church in Solihull to go on a 'journey to the stable' and learn more about the Christmas story. On their journey around the church the children met an inn keeper, shepherds, Mary and Joseph. There was even a real baby in the manger. Many thanks to Linda and the team at St Alphege for making us feel so welcome and to all the parents who came with us on the visit.

There was lots of laughter at the slapstick comedy and the children also got a snack to make the experience a real treat. Thank you to the PTA for organising the event and the movie night or Key Stage 2 last week. All money raised will go back into supporting projects here at Greswold.
