Pupils from Year 6 visited Hauteville-Sur-Mer in Normandy for a memorable week away. The children stopped at the Acorn Adventure camp site and had many exciting activities to complete including kayaking, climbing, a high ropes course, a blindfold trail and fencing. They also spent a day visiting key sites connected to their topic of World War II.
Children from Year 2 spent two nights away from Dunfield House in Herefordshire for a creative residential visit. Minibeasts was the theme for activities and the children made sock puppets and pasticine minibeasts. There was lots of outdoor learning during the time away and the children got to hunt for minibeasts, walk in a river, make natural art and go for a walk through the countryside. Many thanks to the staff and helpers who gave up their time to go on the visit.
