Today the team raced, jumped and threw in the final stage of the competition - the county final. They did a great job representing South Solihull and managed to come seventh overall. Well done. Mr Hornsey was very proud of the team and their attitude towards the event.
  • Year 3 visit Birmingham Botanical Gardens

    Wed 09 Mar 2016

Our pupils in Year 3 have been learning all about the rainforests of the world and how important they are as environments. Many plants and animals are only found in rainforests such as in the Amazon basin and they are increasingly being destroyed by human activity. Today Year 3 visited Birmingham Botanical Gardens to find out more about life in rainforests. They looked at some of the many plants that live there and even got up close to some of the animals. The weather was very apt, with showers throughout the day, however the children were great and learned lots during the visit. Many thanks to the parents who came along to help.

  • Basketball League Update

    Thu 03 Mar 2016
Our basketball A and B teams were in action again, playing against other local schools in the next stage of the Basketball League. The B team looked particularly smart in their brand new kit, paid for by the PTA. After playing fantastically well the A team finished first and the B team fourth in this stage of the competition. A big well done to the teams and thank you to the PTA for funding the kit.
