  • Year 6 perform Let's Rock

    Tue 10 Jul 2018

The Bushell Hall was rocking this evening as Year 6 took to the stage to perform 'Let's Rock'. Based on the music of Queen, the story told of a bleak future when all music is made by computers. The children did a brilliant job with the acting, dancing and singing. There were plenty of familiar songs including Radio Gaga, I Want to Break Free and Another One Bites the Dust. The finale of We are the Champions got a huge response from the audience and everyone was left with smiles on their faces.

A big well done to Year 6 - you were real stars. Thank you to Miss Partridge, Hannah Lindsay, Mrs Foster, Miss Nock and all the other members of staff who made the evening possible.

    Thu 05 Jul 2018
We had a warm afternoon for this year's Key Stage 1 Sports' Day. The children had been busy learning the events over the past few weeks and it was finally to put that practise into action. There were lots of different races involving sacks, eggs, spoons, hockey sticks and skipping ropes. Everyone tried their best and there was a lovely atmosphere of friendly competition. Well done to St George's house who were victorious this year. Thanks to all the parents who were able to come and support the event.
  • Cheerleading success

    Tue 03 Jul 2018
Pupils from Year 1 and 2 have been getting to school early every Monday for Cheerleading Club. The children have been learning exciting, energetic routines complete with pom poms. Today they had a chance to compete against other local schools in a cheerleading festival. The hall at Lode Heath was packed and there's always extra pressure when you're in front of an audience. However this didn't phase our superstars and their brilliant performance won the competition. Well done! A great success for the team.
  • Key Stage 2 Sports' Day

    Tue 03 Jul 2018
Our older children represented their houses at the Key Stage 2 Sports' Day. This year there were some new events including a hockey relay. It was certainly a very summery afternoon and the children took part in the spirit of friendly competition. After all the scores had been counted up the winner was St Patricks. Well done! Many thanks to everyone who was able to come and support the event while enjoying the sunshine.
