  • Greswold reflects...

    Fri 09 Sep 2022

Pupils from Y1-6 joined a special virtual assembly this morning to mark the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. At this time at Greswold, we call on our values to help us, especially belonging, kindness and respect. The children have show great respect today towards the Queen, our new monarch King Charles III and also our school community. We are very proud of them.

  • No time to rest for our new year 6 pupils!

    Thu 08 Sep 2022

Pupils are already settling into life in their new year groups and classes this year and, as always, staff are ensuring the children start the year as actively as possible.  As you can see from the photos, year 6 pupils as well other year groups are already undertaking the 'Daily Mile' or the 'Daily Dash', a successful initiative employed at school for several years now, aiming to maintain an active lifestyle and stimulate the children's minds and brains to help meet the demands of the rest of the day!  Keep it up children, fabulous work!

  • A new academic year spells new site additions to school!

    Thu 08 Sep 2022

The site team have been very busy over the course of the summer.   Mr Hindley has securely and safely covered the drainage trenches around KS1, meaning they still drain rainwater away but without the constant influx of stones onto the playground, thus making the whole area safer.

New interactive 'Activall' boards have been installed on the KS2 playground helping to make lunchtimes even more active and enjoyable for the children.

Finally, the lower school hall floor has been repaired and updated to ensure a fresh look and safer environment for all who use that particular space.

Thank you to everyone involved in improvement works over the summer, helping to ensure Greswold is a safe, stimulating and modern environment to visit and learn in.
