17 pupils accompanied Mr Wilson, Mrs Frankland and Mrs Scott to Solihull School to hear Dame Jane Goodall speak on Reasons for Hope. Dame Goodall is well known as an expert anthropologist and the founder of 'Roots and Shoots' programme for schools. She has worked extensively on conservation and animal welfare issues. In April 2002, she was named a UN Messenger of Peace.
Her talk was inspirational, informative and enjoyable for the pupils chosen from Y3-Y6 to represent Greswold. Isaac from Y5 Oaks even took the opportunity to ask her a direct question during the question and answer session.
