At Greswold we have four school houses, each named after one of Great Britain’s patron saints. These are:
St. Andrew’s (Blue)
St. David’s (Yellow)
St. George’s (Red)
St. Patrick’s (Green)
Children can earn house points for many reasons including good work, excellent behaviour, kindness to others and attitude to learning. Throughout the year there are also a range of events in which the houses compete. These include the House Music Festival and the House Netball and Football Tournaments.
Each house is led by House Captains from Years 2 and 6. These children are in charge of organising events like assemblies and sporting events.
Every half term the house points are counted and collected together in a special House Point Assembly. The house which has collected the most points for the half term is awarded the House Point Trophy. Children in each class who have earned the most house points are also celebrated with certificates.
