Number chase - In this activity, the children had to run to the stations around the playground. Each station had a number and an addition problem to solve. The answer was the number of the station the children had to find next.
Active number bonds - In this activity, the children had to visit different stations. Each station was a different number and the children had to recall their number bonds to make the number.
Matching number names - This activity was completed in groups. The children had to run to collect a card from a hoop. There was a mixture of numbers written as words and in figures. The challenge was then to match the cards up.
