Teaching/Learning Assistant

TWO TEACHING ASSISTANTS – Permanent

 

Greswold Primary School is committed to keeping young people and vulnerable adults safe. We will be requesting a DBS check to be carried out on appointment.

 

We are looking to appoint for April 2021 two Teaching Assistants; one working within our Key Stage 1 team and one within our Key Stage 2 team.

 

Ideally candidates will have NVQ Level 3 in supporting Teaching and Learning or the equivalent, while a good level of numeracy and literacy is essential (GCSE Grade C).

 

The Key Stage 1 role is mornings only, inclusive of INSET days, 16.25 hours per week (8.30am -12pm including an unpaid 15 minute break) as a teaching assistant plus 5 hours per week (12pm -1pm) as a lunchtime playleader.  

 

The Key Stage 2 role is part time, term time, inclusive of INSET days and totals 12.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday from 10.40am-1.10pm):  6.25 hours per week as a teaching assistant delivering interventions and 6.25 hours per week as a playleader.

 

Both positions will be paid on Band C point 7 - 14 currently £20,092 to £23,080 pro rata dependant on qualifications and experience.

 Lunchtime Supervisor

Lunchtime Supervisor

 

Greswold Primary School is committed to keeping young people and vulnerable adults safe. We will be requesting a DBS check to be carried out on appointment.

 

Greswold Primary School are looking to recruit dynamic, enthusiastic Lunchtime supervisors on a permanent contract to start as soon as possible. We are also looking for those interested to be included in a relief pool (casual work).  

 

The position involves a hands on job of supervising children, aged between 4 & 11, in the dining room and caring for them in the playground area during the rest of their lunchtime break. Hours worked are seven and a half hours per week from 11:45 to 13:15 Monday to Friday inclusive, term time only. Salary will be paid on Band A Point 1 to 3, £17,842 - £18,562 pro rata dependant on experience and qualifications.
