Teaching/Learning Assistant

Child Specific Learning Support Assistant

Greswold Primary School is committed to keeping young people and vulnerable adults safe. We will be requesting a DBS check to be carried out prior to appointment.

 

Greswold is a large and very popular primary school in central Solihull which provides an inclusive learning community where every child really does matter.

 

We are looking to appoint a Child Specific Learning Support Assistant, to work as part of our upper Key Stage 2 team. The successful applicant will be able to set firm boundaries but also have an invested interest in nurturing and developing our pupils. The position will commence as soon as possible and will finish in August 2024.

 

The role will be 30 hours per week Monday to Friday, exclusive of INSET days, from 08:30 to 15.15 with an unpaid 15-minute mid-morning break and an unpaid 30-minute lunch break.  

 

Applications for a job share will be considered – please state on your application form your preference of working pattern.

Ideally candidates must have NVQ Level 3 in supporting Teaching and Learning or the equivalent, while a good level of numeracy and literacy is essential (GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent).  The position will be paid on Band C point 8 - 14 currently £22,777 - £25,409 pro rata dependant on qualifications and experience.

Lunchtime Supervisor

Lunchtime Supervisor

 

Greswold Primary School is committed to keeping young people and vulnerable adults safe. We will be requesting a DBS check to be carried out on appointment

 

Greswold Primary School are looking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic lunchtime supervisor on a permanent contract to start as soon as possible.  

 

The position involves a hands on job of supervising children, aged between 4 & 11, in the dining room and caring for them in the playground area during the rest of their lunchtime break. Hours worked are seven and a half hours per week from 11:45 to 13:15 Monday to Friday inclusive, term time only.

 

Salary will be paid on Band A Point 2 to 3, £20,441 - £20,812 pro rata, pay award pending (Actual circa £3,465 - £3,527) dependant on experience and qualifications.
