How does Greswold School involve pupils with SEND in their education?
Children with SEND are encouraged to take an active role in their education and support at a level appropriate to their age and needs. They are encouraged to discuss with their teacher their day to day thoughts and how they would like to be supported. Older children (Year 5 and 6) are encouraged to attend Parents Consultations termly. Each term, during the process of reviewing and updating their passport, they have the opportunity to share their views and give the information they want other people to know about them.
Children with SEND are encouraged to join the school council, and also to talk to their representatives about their views. Their views are also sought during whole school pupil voice activities which take place regularly.
