Greswold assemblies celebrate 100 years of Sir David Attenborough

This morning in our Key Stage assemblies, Mr Hornsey and Mrs Woodcock used Picture News to celebrate the 100th birthday of Sir David Attenborough.  

 

The children will learn about the naturalist in their class assemblies this week but were treated to a short clip of a very famous 1978 filiming of Sir David and some gorillas in Rwanda, Africa.

 

This week's Picture News, as with all previous ones, are saved on our website under Children on our Home Learning page.

These stories can be used by children who want to learn more about each story from Picture News or when they'd like a few extra Home Learning tasks to complete.
