In their third game of the season, the boys' football team were up against Valley Primary yesterday evening at a very blustery Old Silhillians.
A very cagey first half was followed by end to end action in the second with Valley taking the lead halfway through. However, Greswold never let their heads go down and proceeded to swamp the opposing goal with several near misses and an effort which hit the post. Finally, their pressure paid of with a scrambled goal in the final few minutes.
Well done to the team and for never giving up, a perfect demonstration of our school values. It's now onto our final two matches of the season next half term against Langley and Monkspath.
