Information of updated RE Curriculum Offer
Since the start of this academic year, Greswold have been implementing the updated Religious Education curriculum devised by Solihull Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE). All local authority schools are statutorily obligated to teach the curriculum set out by SACRE but do have the autonomy of deciding how to structure their offer.
Each year group module has been devised using an enquiry question which you can view below in the picture gallery. Our subject leaders, Mrs Croft and Miss McCauslin have provided training and updates to both the teaching staff and the governing body and have supported teachers with the resources needed to confidently implement the new curriculum. In the coming weeks, they will be using a Pupil Voice session with years' 1 to 6 to source initial feedback from the pupil population, enabling them to amend approaches moving forward into the academic year 2026-27.
