Year 3 Den Building
At the end of last term and as part of their Design and Technology learning about structures, year 3 children took part in a den building activity with Mr and Mrs Cooper. This immersive activity helped the children to apply their classroom knowledge to real life, outdoor situations.
Not only was their task to build a sturdy den using materials available but they had to make it waterproof too! Staff had great fun testing how waterproof the children's dens were by pouring water on them while each group were inside! Luckily, the children were very successful and no one got wet!
