Year 6 get evacuated

To really bring their topic of World War II to life, pupils from Year 6 were evacuated on the Severn Valley Railway. The children visited Bewdley Museum to learn what life was like during the Second World War. They went learned about air raids and even got to try out an Anderson shelter. In the afternoon the group travelled by steam train, but unlike their counterparts during the war they were back home for dinner time. Lots of pictures are available on the Extranet.
