1666 brought to life again!
If you don't already know, year 2 pupils can definitely remind you that the date 1666 is memorable for the historic event of the Great Fire of London, their history topic for this term.
Courtesy of PTA funding, year 2 pupils applied their learning to the context of an immersive workshop, provided by The Trunk Theatre Group.
There was lots of positive feedback from the group who mentioned just how enthusiastic and knowledgeable the children were.
A lovely way to finish the half term and a really purposeful way to finish a learning topic. Thank you to the year 2 staff for organising.
