Greswold pupils supporting our local community
This afternoon, 10 pupils from Y3-6 visited a local school to take part in a special fundraising event organised by the pupils from the Triple Crown centre.
Pupils from the Triple Crown centre attend Greswold on Monday afternoons to read with year 1 pupils so it was the turn of Greswold to pay back the favour.
Triple Crown were hosting a special coffee afternoon for the MacMillan Trust so 10 children from our Young Carers group, accompanied by Mr Hornsey, Mrs Rochelle and Miss Carpenter, walked down to take part in the lovely event. Book sales, cake sales, a raffle and different games were on offer for the children to enjoy.
Thank you to the pupils and staff of Triple Crown for kindly inviting us and well done to the children who attended as their behaviour was impeccable.
