April's Travel Tracker WOW badges are been awarded to those children who have travelled actively to school at least once a week in April.
110 badges were given out yesterday, a reduction on previous months but may be a consequence of the new limits Living Streets have added to the Travel Tracker in terms of only being able to complete previous days up to two weeks in the past.
Engagement was also only 22% so with next week being Walk to School Week, there will be another big push to increase the number of badges being given out in May.
Parents can play their part by leaving the car at home at least one day a week or parking outside the 5 minute walking bubble as advertised in Sustainable Travel in the Parents section of the website.
