October's Language of the Month is Japanese
The first language of the month has arrived for this academic year and it's Japanese! Language of the Month is used to promote the wonderful diversity we have amongst our pupil population in relation to what first language they speak.
Mrs Beddow and the language ambassadors help decide which language to focus on each month and design the posters which are then displayed in every classroom and communal area.
Teachers will encourage children to answer the register in the focused language of the month and promote that language in other ways, through their day-to-day routines and curriculum delivery.
Our pupil and parent population here at Greswold is so unique that we always look for ways to celebrate and showcase our community.
