Year 2 - a perfect example of how we implement our curriculum here at Greswold!
This half term, year 2's Science topic has been minibeasts and their approach to delivering learning has been a perfect example of how to implement our curriculum here at Greswold.
Not only did they use an educational visit to Brandon Marsh to speak the pupil's engagement and motivation but they've brought wildlife back into the classroom to immerse the children further. Their butterfly farms are giving the children first hand experience of life cycles with the first butterflies emerging from their chrysalises.
However, the children are continuing to embed their minibeasts knowledge by incorporating the subject into their Design and Technology learning where they have mastered basic sewing techniques to make minibeast finger puppets.
Well done children, we'll all know where to come if we have any questions about minibeasts (or sewing!!!).
