'Amazing' values on show by Greswold boys at first basketball event of the year
'Amazing' was the word Mr Hobbis used to describe the Greswold basketball team's attitude and approach towards their first league event yesterday evening.
Nine year 6 boys represented the school at the special Develop event at St Peter's School where there was an emphasis placed on values being shown by teams as well as competitiveness and results.
Not only did the boys demonstrate the values of Greswold perfectly but also the values of the School Games initiative, which you can see below.
They played three in games in total, against Widney, St Augustine's and Balsall Common, winning one. However, the results of the values scoring haven’t been communicated yet so we'll have to wait and see where Greswold are in the league table once they arrive. The second event is in February.
