Bike It Assembly
Today we welcomed a guest into a special assembly for Key Stage 1 and 2. Our guest talked about the Bike It scheme which Greswold has signed up to. The scheme encourages children to travel to school by bike or scooter and was launched with the help of our Year 6 Junior Road Safety Officers. Also in the assembly, other ways of sustainable travel were discussed in addition to the importance of keeping safe on the journey. With the mornings and evenings now growing darker, pupils were encouraged to wear something bright sot hey can be easily seen by motorists.
