Girls' school football team edged out in tight game
On Wednesday, the girls' school football team was back in action, again at Tudor Grange, this time against Shirley Heath.
A much improved team performance saw the team deserve a victory. However, the ball just wouldn't hit the back of the opposition's net! In the end, Shirley heath scored the decisive winner midway through the second half after a break away move, with the eventual score being 1-0.
Greswold can take heart from a really good performance and use it to spur them on in their next match on the 21st February against Widney School, again at Tudor Grange. Plenty of time for more practise!
