Greswold out in the community!

As part of Community Week and our role of being a Sustainable School, Greswold was out in the community picking up litter and improving our local environment.  Part of taking care of our local community is by keeping it clean and ensuring we don't drop litter. Unfortunately, most of the litter we found was directly outside school so we must remind pupils and families take rubbish from after school snacks home. The last photo is a crisp packet we found in the woods with a date of 1997 on! That is proof of how long litter stays in our environment for - even after 24 years the packet has not degraded.
If any children would like to get involved in litter picking in the local community then they can contact the organisation 'Love Solihull'. https://www.lovesolihull.org/litter-picking
