Happy Roald Dahl Day

We have had a wonderful time in the library celebrating Roald Dahl Day today, on what would have been his 102nd birthday.  There was lots of reading, which I'm sure, would have made Roald Dahl a very happy man indeed!

A very big thank you and special mention to the brave and enthusiastic Year 5 and 6 story-tellers who read outside on the KS1 playground this lunchtime.  They came back buzzing with excitement - exactly the kind of reading for pleasure spirit we love to encourage here at Greswold.  Well done to you all!

Congratulations also to Sycamore, Chaffinches, Skylarks and Squirrels who were first to return the Roald Dahl Challenge and get a class point.
