Lest We Forget
On Remembrance Sunday, two children from Year 6 laid a wreath at the war memorial in Solihull on behalf of Greswold. Our Year 6 pupils have been learning about World War I and the tradition of remembrance. In lessons they wrote poetry and created art work inspired by the hardships and tragedy of the war. The children also were responsible for selling poppies at break times on behalf of the British Legion. The whole school also came together on 11th September for a minutes silence and a chance to reflect.
