School Council present fundraising cheque to Acorns charity
Yesterday, Greswold received a special visit from a representative of Acorns Children's Hospice, who spoke with all children from Reception to year 6 about the important work they do in the community. Acorns is the charity we raised money for as part of the recent 'obstacle course' sponsored event so the assembly also provided the opportunity for school council to present them with a cheque of £1063.62. Thank you to everyone involved in the sponsored event, an activity which helped the pupils be more aware of why we raise money for good causes. Many thanks to our parent community also for their very kind donations.
