Science projects celebrated in assembly

All children from Years' 1-6 were invited to take part in a Science Project competition over February half term. We were hugely impressed by the number of children who brought projects in; they all showed creativity, curiosity and dedication as well as enthusiasm for scientific discovery and problem solving.

Winners were chosen from every class, who all received a special book prize in this week's assembly, when we launched British Science Week.

A further 6 children were chosen, 1 per year group, who went to Tudor Grange Academy on March 5th to represent Greswold at a Science Fair, amongst other children from local schools.  These children got to present their projects to members of National Grid, who judged each one on various categories. Each child was absolutely incredible, and showed all of Greswold's values.

Arjun in year 6 won overall 'best scientific content' for his project based on melting ice and Saathvik in Year 4 won the LKS2 category with his project about environmentally friendly adaptations.
