Superb speaking on show in Y6 Willows!
As part of our bid to ensure children are literate in many forms, Year 6 pupils have been using their class text, 'Pig Heart Boy' as a stimulus for speech writing. Through taking on the role of Cam (the main character), the children have been writing a speech to persuade people to consider organ transplantation from animals to humans. In our English lesson today, the children have explicitly learnt how to present well using intonation and expression without including irrelevant detail such as filler words.
