Year 2 visit to Dunfield House

Pupils from Year 2 spent two nights away from home in the Herefordshire countryside on a residential visit to Dunfield House. The children enjoyed lots of time in the fresh air including making rafts to sail in the stream, sketching the house and writing poems outside to hang in the 'poet-tree'. There was a creative focus for the visit and the children had fun dancing, making puppets and creating mud hedgehogs. The adventure playground proved very popular - as did the camp fire and the action songs led by the staff. It's amazing how much they packed into their time away!
