This week in phonics we are recapping all of the ways we can make the long a sound. Write down all the ways you can make the long a sound and then think of some words with those digraphs.

Next, have a look at these household items. Sort the pictures of household items/ products into the rooms where they would be found, either kitchen or bathroom; then sort each item into whether they are safe for them to use/not safe for them to use. Talk about the reasons why some items are safe/unsafe for them at this age.
