KS1 and KS2 meet Buddy

This week we welcomed Clelia from the NSPCC who visited Greswold to talk to the children about the charity. She introduced Buddy, the NSPCC's mascot, who is a cuddly speech bubble. He encourages children to speak out when something is wrong and Clelia went through the charity can help children when they are in trouble. Children in Year 5 and Year 6 will be having follow up workshops from the NSPCC focusing on how to keep themselves safe in different situations.

To support the important work undertaken by the NSPCC, each class will be taking part in Buddy's Workout. This workout will be completed in school during the children's PE lessons. Each child has brought home a sponsorship form so that they can be sponsored for completing their workout. All money raised will go straight to the NSPCC.

Many thanks to Clelia for visiting Greswold and thank you in advance for everyone who is able to support this fundraising event.
