Good Morning Year 5,
We hope you have all had a lovely weekend and not melted too much in this heat! Please remember to stay cool today by drinking plenty of water and wearing sun-cream and a hat if you go outside into the garden. Your remote learning for today can be found below. We are very much looking forward to seeing you back in school tomorrow.
Take care and stay safe,
Mrs Beddow, Mrs Howell, Miss Summers, Miss Bragg and Mr Jones.

PSD - Well Being Session 11am
All isolating pupils to log on to today's PSD Well Being and catch -up session please.
There will be some Japan and Olympic inspired activities for you to join in with.
Mrs Beddow will also explain the independent research task, which is your learning for the rest of the day and answer any questions you may have.
Here are the answers to the quiz we did in the 11am session. Some of you said you would find them useful for your independent task this afternoon. Please don't bring in anything from home to school tomorrow. I will make copies of this available to you in school.
Japan Inspired Art
Some of you liked the idea of getting creative this afternoon.
Here is some Japanese style art to inspire you. Unfortunately, you won't be able to bring anything you have made at home into school but we would still love to see work uploaded to the website if you would like to show us.
Optional English Drop-in, 2:30pm
Come along and see each other for one last time virtually before we are back in school tomorrow.
I will tell you the Japanese Traditional Tale of 'Maru-Me and the Wrestler' and inspire you as future Olympians by reading some more of Marcus Rashford's 'You are a Champion'.
You only need to complete one of the reading comprehension tasks.
