• Cricket Coaching

  Year 4 and 5 will be enjoying cricket coaching from Warwickshire CCC over the next few weeks as part of the Chance to Shine programme. Today coach Chris took the children through some key skills for cricket including throwing, catching and bowling. Year 4 will also be taking part in a cricket festival in May.

  

• Year 2 visit the Birmingham back-to-backs

  Children from Year 2 stepped back in time to visit the back-to-backs in Birmingham city centre. The children have been learning about homes in the past and it was a great way to see how people lived a century ago. Not everyone was convinced that sharing a bed with four other people was going to result in a comfortable night's sleep! A highlight was popping into the old fashioned sweet shop for a selection of traditional confectionary. Lots of photographs are available in the Year 2 Back-to-backs Visit Gallery.
