Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Well done to St Patrick's who won the most house points for this half term. It means they've closed the gap on third placed St George's with St Andrew's still out in the lead at the halfway mark.
Children's Mental Health week was also introduced to the KS2 pupils with our value of success also being explored through the Winter Olympic Games which started this weekend. Ar eally immersive promo was used to raise awareness of the games which you can access below:

This week, 99 WOW badges were given to happy children as a reward for their engagement in January's Travel Tracker. However, whole school engagement was only at 17%, well down on the figure this time last year. Hopefully, February can help turn our fortunes round and school can distribute more badges next month.
The return of the WOW badge art competition may help as KS2 pupils get a chance to design next year's WOW badges with three winners being sent off for the national competition at the end of February. The competition was revealed to the children today in House Point assembly.
This morning, the fire service based at Bournbrook in Birmingham visited the children in Reception, courtesy of Mrs Mitchell's brother who is based there.
As you can see, the children had an amazing time and even got to operate the water hoses! And why not, it was raining anyway!!!!
Thank you to Mrs Mitchell, and her brother, for organising such an immersive experience.
