  • The Travel Tracker is already back! Start logging your journeys today!

    Thu 04 Sep 2025

The Living Streets Travel Tracker has been up and running since Tuesday of this week meaning parents and pupils can start logging their journeys on the Living Streets Travel Tracker website page.

The password below is the same one as last year:

    email-scoff-party

This year's theme is Walk with Joy and we'll soon be receiving the new badges your children can win simply by logging their active journey once a week each month either at school or at home.  However, if you travel actively to school everyday, why not log every journey?  Our aim is for 30% of the pupil population to regularly use the Travel Tracker.  Last year's result was 26%.

Your child's teacher will allocate each of their pupils with a symbol and it's this symbol you and your child needs to remember in order to log your journeys and win those wonderful badges!

  • New Reception parents enjoy coffee morning!

    Thu 04 Sep 2025

It can be an anxious time for both pupils and parents when a new school year starts and that's why Greswold held another coffee morning for parents of new reception children yesterday.

It was lovely to welcome over 40 families to the coffee morning where they were able to meet other parents from their child's class as well as the other two classes too.

All in all, another successful way of bringing our Greswold family closer together.

  • Everyone looks forward to lunchtimes at Greswold, especially on the first day of school!

    Tue 02 Sep 2025

Lunchtimes can be a nervy occasion for children returning to school after the long summer holiday, especially those in year 3 and year 1 as they're now on a new playground.

However, today, all the children were absolutely fabulous, helping one another, looking after each other and having a throughly enjoyable time.

Keep up the good work children!

  • Lunchtime football club starts next week

    Tue 02 Sep 2025

Lunchtime football club for years' 5 and 6 pupils starts again next Tuesday, once again taken by coaches from the Football Development Scheme.  Pupils who regularly attend lunchtime football club can get chosen to represent the boys' or girls' school football team who take part in South Solihull leagues this year.

Alternatively, they can get chosen to represent the school at the Football Friendly Festival which takes place at Lode Heath in the summer term.

Year 4 girls may get the chance to attend soon depending on the uptake of year 5 and 6 girls.

Pupils who attend can wear their school uniform this half term with a change of footwear.  However, when the weather becomes wetter and more inclement, they will need to wear their PE kits, even if it's on a day when they don't usually do PE.

If parents have any questions, they can contact Mr Hornsey.
