Since September, our Year 4 pupils have been learning to play brass instruments. Each week, Mr Bull and Mr Jones have been teaching the children and developing their musical skills. Year 4 got to perform to the rest of Key Stage 2 in a special assembly. As well as some of the songs they have been learning, they also snuck in a seasonal number as well. You can watch the performance here.
Year 2 had a fine winter morning for their walk to St Alphege Church. They visited the church in Solihull to go on a 'journey to the stable' and learn more about the Christmas story. On their journey around the church the children met an inn keeper, shepherds, Mary and Joseph. There was even a real baby in the manger. Many thanks to Linda and the team at St Alphege for making us feel so welcome and to all the parents who came with us on the visit.

Year 2 put on a fantastic performance about the Great Fire of London filled with singing and dancing. The children had worked hard to learn their lines and did a great job bringing the story from 1666 to life. Well done, Year 2.

Pupils from Year 3 brought their learning about the Romans to life with a special themed day. Children came dressed up in Roman costumes and got to try lots of exciting learning activities including being archeologists, tasting Roman food and trying out some military tactics. A great day. Many thanks parents for all the effort that went into creating the costumes.
