Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Dear Parents and Carers,
At Greswold, we realise that six weeks is an awful long time in the development of young people and children and that is why we're going to open up a communication channel as a prelude to the pupils returning in September.
Halfway through the holiday, parents will receive an app message with a link to access a communication form. This will allow parents to update school and class teachers of any important matters that may have taken place over the holiday. This isn't compulsory, however we feel it might be helpful. Matters might include:
These will then be forwarded to the relevant members of staff so they are aware of any matters prior to the children starting on the 2nd September thus helping pupil transition even further. Please note that staff will not be responding to queries until the start of term.
Thank you

Every child received an ice cream treat, completely free of charge, along with all the staff in year 6 too!
Dear Parents and Carers,
This is a polite reminder for all vehicle users to refrain from using the five disabled parking bays directly outside of school unless you have a Blue Badge clearly shown. This includes before and after school for families attending Greswold Greyhounds or after-school clubs.
The Blue Badge holder should also be present when using the bays.
Thank you
WOW! What a memorable evening for everyone who attended Year 6's final Greswold performance on Tuesday at Bushell Hall theatre at Solihull School.
The Amazing Adventures of Super Stan was truly amazing and each and every child shone in their respective roles. With their singing, acting, humour and comic timing, the children entertained the captivated audience for the entire performance.
The children were a credit to themselves, their families and to the Greswold community, perfectly demonstrating all of the values we try to instil into our children. Thank you children for such a wonderful evening!
A great deal of thanks and appreciation needs to go to all of the staff involved, but particularly Mr Hobday, Miss Awan and Mrs Foster for how they engineered such a fabulous performance. A wonderful team effort!
This morning, the whole school community, including Nursery and Greyhounds squeezed into the Upper School hall, to take part in our annual BRICKS celebration assembly.
This is where Mrs Scott reveals which six children from each class have been awarded a special BRICKS certificate and prize for showing a particular value throughout the course of the academic year. Our Greswold values include Belonging, Respect, Independence, Curiosity, Kindness and Success.
Over 120 pupils in total received a certificate and prize nominated by their class teachers. Well done to all the winning children!
This morning, Year 3 Robins gave their parents a lovely end of year treat with a wonderful singing and drumming performance. All year 3 pupils have been taught by Miss Korman this year as part of their percussive music lessons and it was Robins' turn to perform to their parents.
They put on an excellent display of rhythm and singing, a perfect way for pupils and parents to finish the school year. Well done everyone.
Well done to Y3/4 pupils, Cash, Reggie and Cayden for raising over £1,000 for cancer research by finishing 3rd at the pretty Muddy 5K Obstacle Course event at the weekend at Cofton park in Birmingham.
Considering how hot it was, the boys have done tremendously well in selflessly raising money for others. Everyone at Greswold is very proud of you boys.
Elmdon Heath Community centre hosted a special art exhibition on Sunday called Artogether by Sayantika's Art Studio.
The event was organised by an artist parent of Greswold, Mrs Banik, who recently visited school to take a workshop with some budding Y6 artists.
The artwork on show was stunning with the Mayor of Solihull, Annette Mackenzie and Councillor Shehsh Sheshabhattar of Chelmsley Wood very impressed.
